| Ohh, I'm very sorry OP that you didn't get into the Bethesda Country Club. I'm relieved to hear it wasn't a money issue. My heart goes out to you. I hope you can rebound from this. |
Thanks, PP. I hope so too! I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. |
Wow, that went right over your head. Do you often not recognize heavy sarcasm? |
NP. She obviously responded to the sarcasm with more sarcasm. Keep up. |
Poor PP above. One too many mental steps.

| I’m way out of the loop at our club, but rejections are rare. It’s usually like ex spouse of a current member or some other anticipated drama… |
| It’s very rare to get rejected but since you posted this you can be sure a current member will read this and know who you are or will find out. |
Right, and your applications to other clubs will be rejected because they'll ID you. WTG! |
Yes, but they already know right? |
lol 😂 touché. That is funny. |
| They reject people. I know Chevy does... |

I wonder if the married guy who went to court for being accused of raping a woman after a drunk night at the club is still a member there. He was found not guilty but the details of the evening are still pretty gross.
If he fits their standards, than perhaps it’s not so bad to not get in. |
| OP if you are diverse that is pretty messed up. These clubs should be trying to increase diversity. |
They do have diversity. I know of lawyers, doctors, people in finance and high level govies who are in clubs. Even a few legacies living off family wealth. Total slice of America. |
They let him join before that -- the evening of the alleged rape started with them all drinking at the bar at the club actually. |
