An American in Paris - Olympics Day 1

lol. A clean metro report from Paris. Definitely a naive tourist visiting during the Olympics. It is no doubt a magical city and IMO the most beautiful but clean it is not. Men piss everywhere. In the metro tunnels, in the streets and yes, on the metro. Also, the non-ac metro rides with Parisian homeless drunks are not for the faint of heart.

I'm willing to bet that there are a lot more DC people at the Olympics than you think. No one is going to know who you are on this board.

+1 it’s clean only because they’re newly in the international stage this week. France is pretty gross. We often travel there during our trips to Germany, ans it’s shocking to me to see the difference between two countries.

Also, there’s going to be people with machine guns. That pretty standard LEO fare in many places in Europe. I’m guessing you don’t get to high potential areas often. The Olympics are on. They’re there, you’re just not looking or don’t want to say to keep your narrative. But maybe that’s because your one in like a jillion people that have travelled there this month but you’re still worried about being identified. I have friends from small towns less worried about being at Wimbledon.

I know a half dozen DC families who are at ate Olympics and I don't know many people.

OP is annoying.
