This. Maybe you are just being vague on purpose but I’m not at all convinced that you didn’t uncover a mistake (either on your part or theirs). Or maybe it’s fraud, but even still it’s hard to imagine that someone < year could uncover something that no one else has seen. You need to ask about it first and see what happens next. Otherwise you’re just get fired while they fix whatever the issue is with the funding source. |

Read about Sarah Feinberg. She was a whistleblower at Booz Allen.
1) She notified management when she thought she found something wrong. 2) She quit put every thing in writing in her resignation letter. 3) She got a lawyer. (Not sure when) 4) She got $40M from the government. | OP here. Thanks all. It is definitely fraudulent billing. It isn't a misunderstanding. It explains a lot of what I've seen that didn't make sense to me before. I will consult with an attorney first. Then I think I'll bring it to my leaders attention and go from there. Not sure at this point. Wish I could unsee it. I audited multiple accounts and it's a pattern. Although I'm new to this prg I am a seasoned professional in this field and I know how to recognize something non compliant of this nature. |
| If this involves fraudulent charges to Medicaid or Medicare, I would leave ASAP. You don't want to be there when the feds discover the fraud. |
