Why someone who is serious about TTC would cheap-out on some Walmart home test contraption over a real laboratory test, is beyond me.
Plus, your insurance may cover a real laboratory test at a lab in a building. Even if you have to pay out of pocket, the tests don’t cost much more than the Walmart test-in-a-box (which is only a pass/fail, with limited reliability). Just do it right and take him in to have him tested. |

For certain ultra religious people who are prohibited from masterbating, the clinic provides a special, clean collection-condom for natural s*x. But that’s done at home and later brought it for testing. For everyone else, the clinic could care less who goes with you into the exam or collection room to watch, as long as the man follows the instructions, usually pinned to the wall of the room (pee first, wash hands thoroughly, sterile collection-cup, use only the lube provided etc). |
