| Myrtle Beach is still nice in October. |

Panama City/Bocas - no hurricanes there
Baru, Colombia USVI Puerto Rico Azores? Unsure if warm enough I would book something flexible in the Carribbean in October, I would not book late August/Sept. |

Aruba is outside the hurricane zone and would be lovely. (Any of the ABC islands is outside the zone but Aruba is the easiest one to get to).
Cabo is also still pretty warm then. Probably other pacific Mexican beaches as well, but I just don’t know which to recommended. For Cabo, make sure you get one of the swimmable beaches. |
| Anywhere warm enough in October is also going to be in hurricane season. That said, I don't think the hurricane risk is that bad that late in the year. It's always a risk though. If it were me, I'd probably do FL. |
| Another vote for Aruba |
| Do you want warm water, do you like rocky beach or sandy Beach, do you want to be in the country or out of the country – not enough information. |

We live near SC and have visited during different times of the year. We went in February one year and it was one of our best trips! The weather was very mild, perfect actually. Far less crowded, no waits at restaurants, lovely biking, and beautiful beach walks and kayaking. A few brave souls even got into the ocean. The outdoor pool was heated, and the Marriott resort we stayed at had tons of interesting adult and family activities. October would be a great time to visit HHI, just keep an eye on the hurricane forecast and buy trip insurance. |
k Who’s going? That’ll determine my answer bc best beach destinations for kids is different from a girls trip or romantic getaway. |
| Hwy 30a beaches are perfection in October. Checkout Rosemary Beach. |

I'm in Santa Cruz and October is kind of like our secret summer. Early October though. Obviously you still need wetsuits if you want to surf, though.
We were in Hossegor (France) in October a couple of years ago, and the weather was gorgeous, beaches weren't mobbed any longer... just nice... |
| NC beaches are lovely in October. Less crowds and the water is still warm. The temperature is usually nice also. |
