Holy moly, they could not score 1 goal after 12 shots on goal, like 18 corners and 26 shots. That's nuts. CR had no offense - 20% possession. US plays like this and no way they are doing well in Olympics v stronger teams. CR GK was really good though - we just saw last 15 min of game but some highlights.
It looked like all their shots were off - was it just tonight or is that just how they always are? That's scary if latter!!!! It was so hard to tell how good/bad they were because CR was really not a strong team. My expectations are that they would be better even on an off day??? |

CR goal keeper played with Spain and def earned accolades there. I think I heard she's more or less in the twilight of her career but she is def still a star 
For how many shot opportunities they had, US had to at least finish a couple shots. Hot weather or good weather, playing at this level, you play to win. Good God they suck. |

The metro was a hot mess tonight. I'm just getting home and I live on the red line in the district. I don't know why Audi and all its user's can't contract with Geico garage , at minimum, when there aren't Nat's events. There's literally no business case scenario to a giant parking garage two blocks from the stadium remaining closed when you could charge 300 cars $50 each to park. |

These were the players going to the Olympics?! CR didn't even make it to the Olympics this time.
How many times does this have to happen before someone addresses the favoritism and coaching? No way is this the best we have. |

Time to revamp the entire team. No more Trinity, no more of the usual suspects. Just find (out of the 32,000 elite womens soccer players) a NEW TEAM! This is getting old. |

This IS largely a new young team with a new coach who has been with the team about a minute. Immediate results is not a reasonable expectation. |

In the last women's world cup when the US was playing terribly, one commentator posed this same question and another commentator immediately listed about 20 names of current collegiate players off the top of her head that could have performed better. Let's be honest... The last world cup showing should have been a red flag but in true US soccer form, we will continue on as usual with favoritism regardless of results. |

Which players on the current team is a result of favoritism? Genuinely curious. A lot of the old timers including Alex Morgan are gone. That doesn’t sound like favoritism. |
