Scared of woke? Then stop your DC with high school diploma. Your DC will never be woke. You will also never be woke since you wouldn’t be able to brag about your DC being in such and such college or graduate of a college. Problem solved. QED.

Run the NPC but I bet you won't get a dime.

I would say Emory, Vandy and Rice are all fine. They are not known as Activist schools the way Cal is and Columbia has become.

Vandy's student body has a woke element, but the administration has done a good job not caving into "demands" and putting up with other nonsense from woke students who just want to be disruptive and have their 15 minutes.

WUSTL I would say is actually the most apolitical of the four schools mentioned. Emory to an extent as well.

Rice is easily the wokest of the group. The social scene is built around Hogwarts-style "residential colleges" instead of a traditional Greek system so no one can be excluded, and the websites for each of those colleges have statements supporting BLM.

Except it is in Texas, any protests, or shenanigans like we saw at Columbia won't be tolerated on that campus.

For WashU, applying ED is definitely a benefit. If you have a chance, I’d visit and see where your student thinks they’d fit the best.

Would you rather their websites have link to “Trump Bible” sales pitch? Would Rice then pass your “no woke” test?

Emory is 18 for wall street placement
Vandy 23
WashU 28.
Rice doesn't make the T30.
Emory is better than it seems as Atlanta has a lot of small investment shops with 20 or less people which don't get counted for this study.

Thank you, op here. Does Emory let you double major? Do these numbers include Oxford?

Signed Dad of a newly minted IB (not from either school).

NP

If it was as easy as just “go to x school” for the job, the OP probably wouldn’t have his question. It seems like they’re trying to gain admission through ED at a school That is likely a reach or a strong target.
