Honestly, the dumplings, empanadas, handpies idea are super vegan friendly. I would ask your guests to bring something if you have that sort of relationship with them. You would probably have a wonderful mix of tofu and veggie goodness fried, steamed, and baked! You can provide tapenades, hummus, and other dips with veggies and crackers. For people who might be dough-wrapped food out, a few noodle dishes might be fun--like a spicy peanut noodle. |

We did something similar for my daughter's Eurovision party! It was fun. For us, definitely more low key than this - we walked the aisles of Trader Joes and bought anything remotely european.
Also - apps are fun and a good way to start. I'm wondering about desserts, because an international dessert bar is even more fun.
Spanish cheeses and tapenade. Portugal - not Trader Joes, but Lidl sells portuguese custard tarts in the bakery and they are pretty good Belgium - TJ has an amazing butter belgian waffle cookie that I've always overlooked but they are tasty and feel more high end. Thin, crispy, a touch sweet but not too much - great on a dessert table or with after dinner coffee. etc etc We did not do any asian food (Eurovision), but the frozen aisle has all sorts of options. |

Open a jar of kimchi! or other pickled things. I like the ones from India.
Make some samosas with different ingredients. Samosas cover Asia and Africa! Dumplings! Pierogis, Raviolis, East Asian type, endless. Dumplings cover several continents. Or just buy them and heat them up. Kabobs all the way. So many different kinds. Brazilian bread. It's very easy to make. Check pinterest. And if you twist the recipe and add a few more steps and ingredients, you get bibingka from the Philippines. Maybe vegemite on toast? |

If you are doing a catered meal, I would just focus on a lovely table and a non-meat charcuterie- the fruit ring is fabulous and then different breads and cheeses- naan, pita, croissant , etc.. add olives, nuts and dried fruit. See if you can find decorative toothpick with flags. |
| Home made appetizers? Yuck. |

Any suggestions for food from an African nation?
Would love recipes. |
Aww! What’s the matter? Are you sad there's no Chick-Fil-A? |
