| Happy Feet. Even in a cartoon about a dancing penguin, the zoo returning the penguin to the wild was not believable. |

True Romance. While i do love alabama and what’s-his-face’s happy ending on the beach, i think the original tarantino finale would have been better and more poignant.
Conversely, The tv show that got the sad ending so incredibly right with just the right mix of pathos humor and wtf that just totally made sense was barry on hbo. |
It broke my heart but that was actually the best decision for her son. |
| Four Weddings and a Funeral. Probably because I found Andie McDowell’s character annoying. I was like…wait….why? What? |
They actually did an experiment testing on that and found that both could not have stayed on top of the float. |

Cameron himself did the experiment. |
She ended up in a bunch of iconic movies but she’s a horrible actress. This and Groundhog Day both excel in spite of her. |

The ones that bug me are the movies that end happily ever after, but then they make a sequel some years down the road and you find out the characters broke up soon after the events of the previous movie(s). Such as the third Bridget Jones movie or Jurassic Park. Sometimes they rekindle the romance, but the picture you had in your head that the couple stayed together is forever tarnished.
Of course, the worst is when they do a sequel and can’t get one of the original actors back, so they have a plot where the original couple broke up offscreen and the sequel is about the new romance. Speed was a great movie that ended perfectly, but they couldn’t get Keanu Reeves back for Speed 2, and had Sandra Bulllock’s character in a relationship with Jason Patric. That movie stunk, no chemistry and dumb plot, Keanu made the right decision. |
