Do you even have kids if you don’t know what cap means? Also I don’t have to explain shizz to you. It’s pretty self- explanatory that playing in games keeps you in game shape. Especially when your DC plays full games as mine does. But you do you boo. Wish your DC well playing in August if they’ve played no games all summer. |

I have kids and do not know what “cap” means.
I thought it was a typo for “crap.” |
| Ask your kids what “stop the cap” means. |
what's with the 90s slang? |
What's the definition of "game shape" in this context Its a wasted discussion if the term game shape is left to interpretation |
I have a kid who plays mostly full games at the highest level and who has been training diligently all summer, but not playing some watered down summer games isn't going to be a problem on Aug 1. Rest & recovery are extremely important as has already been mentioned. You also can't discount the mental break. Burn out is a huge problem that you will soon find out about. |
Cap is slang for a lie. So capping is lying for example. |
People who know high level training and know training requires more endurance and strength and touches than games understand why you don't need fun low-level summer games to be ready for Fall |
