The difference...if he were a repiblican, he would become a delegate to the convention and be fundraising off of it. You won't see Dems circling the wagons on this. |
Could you please identify the Republican who sent texts like this to a 14-year-old boy and used it to fundraiser? I believe you, but I can’t remember this. |

I worked with a guy who was solicited for sex by a Maryland legislator. My coworker was 14 at the time and working as a bellhop in Ocean City for the summer. He told his Mom. His Mom did not believe him and thought he misconstrued the solicitation.
Years later the legislator was arrested for underage solicitation of a boy. |
| OMG, I so wish I had not clicked on the video. What a sick person. |
This is so sad. I suspect it is common, too. |

I don’t see an example of texts like what was sent in this case used to fundraise, which was what was claimed. Yes the links show Republicans saying terrible things but the claim was that many Republicans have sent texts like this to 14-year-old boys and then used those texts to fundraise. People saying terrible things is not nearly the same thing. There are probably examples of politicians saying terrible gross things across the political spectrum. I’m looking for examples of what the PP claimed specifically, which is that there are Republicans who have acted like this, become delegates, and then used the texts etc to fundraise. |
Nice reach |
You’re right. The won’t circle the wagons, they will just try to memory hole him. He doesn’t exist, wasn’t involved in the party or policy setting and no one knew him. |
No they’d have him arrested if the MAGA freak didn’t blow it. |
It’s not a reach to point out that the PP has provided literally no evidence of Republicans doing what was claimed. The question was straightforward. As a refresher, this is what the PP claimed: if he were a repiblican, he would become a delegate to the convention and be fundraising off of it. So this should be straightforward for PP: provide the examples of Republicans sending texts like this to a child of 14, where those same Republicans then became delegates to the convention and used the texts for fundraisers. I would like the names of the Republicans who did what PP said. |

Pedohilia is never OK. I am French. French society used to turn a blind eye to older men in relationships with teens. It's changing now, thank goodness: very brave women have come forward in recent times to relay their experience, particularly with famous movie directors. I'll say this Democrats: they usually act ruthlessly to extirpate such horrors from their ranks. Unlike Republicans. |
Neither of these people were actively engaging in or promoting pedophilia. |
Hence the disappearance of his name and bio from the MD Democratic Party website almost immediately after the news broke. Also noticing that some Facebook posts with supporters shown with him have also disappeared (they come up in searches, but clicking on them shows a non-existent page. |
