Did you/do you bathe your children in severe thunderstorms?

Why take a risk like this? Even if it’s a minor risk, does a kid really need a bath that badly that it’s worth even a minor risk of electrocution?

I usually try to avoid it if possible because I'm not sure if there's any real risk involved. I have to admit, I've never actually done any research on the topic. Over the years, I've heard conflicting information.

I follow the CDC’s recommendation. However, I will wash my hands if needed.

I know, right? Plus thunderstorms are cool. We used to stay outside until the last minute counting the seconds from when we see lightening until we hear thunder to judge how faraway the storm was. Then watch from inside.

We used to have to unplug the TVs in case of power surge. Computers too.
