Me too! I actually have tears in my eyes. What sent me over the edge was the image of someone writing home about the state of her poop-chute.
As for MY ass (just to show you that I'm not making fun or anything) I have a smallish hemmorhoid that I refuse to talk to my doc about. I've never looked at it in the mirror, and I cannot imagine putting myself in the position (pun intended) to get it fixed. I just live with my bulgy little friend, and try to eat enough fiber that it doesn't bleed with hard poo. |

Sorry to hear about your baby, OP. Mine also had to go back into the hospital for the phototherapy and it was no fun.
Anyway, I also had a 2nd degree tear and what I thought was a hemorrhoid, or definitely something hanging out of my butt. I could feel it when I pooped and wiped. It didn't hurt but was very disconcerting. I had my husband look, who said it didn't look like a hemorrhoid but (or is that butt?) rather that my stitches were coming apart. In the (rear) end, it turned out to be a flap of skin starting to cover one of the stitches. I hope yours turns out to be nothing too. |

I agree this is hilarious.
Things will get better. This is why I brought my own stool softeners to the hospital for my second two children - I am not kidding, took at least 5 softners each tim! I must post on the Expectant Moms thread. |
