Yup. There's a lot of trash to take out in that department.

Except it wasn't him. They just used him as the scapegoat.

He was the 2nd highest person in charge at MCPS. So who was really to blame if not him?

That's what happens when you're in charge of the budget and screw it up. He'll be on to destroying another school district this fall. Ho hum.

Hull and Key were noticeably absent from the new superintendent announcement. For that reason, I think they both are out!

Key was at a meeting this morning, unfortunately still here

Was Brian salty he didn't get the Super job? Or is MCPS just sweeping before the new Super?

Hull didn’t want the super job. Felder didn’t like him. I’m sure she was happy to give him the boot on her way out, though he was undermined at every turn. Felder didn’t let him do his job.. She likes Key though. That’s bad news for those who dislike Key. Fingers crossed the new super will be very cautious about whose counsel he takes. So many people are trying to control the narrative.

The new super was never going to keep Hull. He's bringing his own people.

So was it his call to waste all those funds on useless studies and crazy DEI programs?

No, it was his failed oversight that botched the EBP forecasts and bungled the budget forecasts and communications with Council, MCEA and the public during the budgeting process.

Chief operating officer

Given the challenges at MCPS, a new superintendent should be free to clean house before their arrival. Brian Hull literally made sh$t up during presentations to board meetings.
