| Do you not drink alcohol? One cocktail would have been more than that. The waiter needs to make money too. |
|
This is why we don't order drinks at restaurants. We aren't big alcohol drinkers either, so that helps as well.
We allow the kids to order whatever beverage they want on some special occasions like birthdays, celebratory dinners, etc. |
A place that is charging $4.75 on a soda isn't going to have a $7 beer. MAYBE if they serve bud light. |
| Were you eating steak? Get a glass of red wine instead. |
| I spend $3.50 at our club for my kid to have a coke in the kids area. I think that's insane - yet I continue to do it - so I guess I'm insane. |
Same. We get water. Kid can have sprite on occasion. |
| Well, already years, DD and I spent 15.00 for sparkling water at Fiola Mare |
Probably true. I'd still rather have a $7 Bud Light than a $5 soda. |
| I bring my own drink from home and ask for ice. If they no likely they can suck my dick. |

*likey
I don’t want the DCUM grammar police to show up at my door. |
I'm cheap, so I'll order 1 soda for the family. The rest of them will have water. We share the soda (free refills).
|
| Yeah, it's a ripoff. I only drink water unless I'm getting a glass of wine or a cocktail. |
|
I spent $5 on iced tea (just 12 oz) at a coffee house.
Food is so expensive and they do not give much in a serving these days, so I reduced eating out in restaurants. I'd rather eat at home and not be hungry after a meal. |
| This is why I only drink wine. |
| You are eating at the most overpriced type of restaurant there is. What did you expect? |
