| Hollywood studios is much smaller than AK. Would recommend AK |
| We did Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Enjoyed both but the rides at MK were definitely preferred. |
| If your kid is a girl and likes princesses Epcot can actually be a good choice. It’s the only park where you can meet Anna and Elsa, plus there are a bunch of others like Mulan, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and Jasmine. |
| Definitely not Epcot, especially if you're going in the summer. The walk around the lake to all of the countries is a slog for some kids, especially in the summer b/c there isn't much shade. |
Personally I would choose AK or HS over a water park which you don’t need Disney to visit. |
My kids had zero interest in this and we were there in April. |
| Magic Kingdom. That is quintessential Disney. Especially for an 8 year old. No way would I waste time at a water park in Disney if I was only there 2.5 days. |
| Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. AK is smaller than Epcot but loads to do, amazing shows, great food, great photos. Our daughter also loves Epcot, but if we had one day and had to pick a park she'd probably pick AK. We can easily do the entire park in a day. Usually under a day at this point but only because we've gone so many times. |
| I would say Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios but it really depends on what your child is into and what level/kinds of rides they like. My kids love Pixar and Star Wars so Hollywood Studios was a must for us but if that's not your child's thing, AK might be better. I think Epcot is better for older kids. |
Spend a half day/ evening at animal kingdom. Avatar land is super cool in the dark. Amazing to my 8 year old. |
| I would let my 8 year old pick at last one day. |
Your kid might want a second day at Magic Kingdom because there’s so much to do there. |
| I’d say MK and AK. |
You'll spend hours on transport every day.. |

We'ev done the 2 day trip a few times. We wait for the kids to have a 3-day weekend during off-season (i.e. not summer) and the fly in on Friday (straight to airport from school!), do Saturday-Sunday at teh parks, and fly back Monday.
We used to do MK both days, but now our youngest is 9 and we have an 11 year old, so we do MK first day and Epcot the second day. Don't waste your time on water parks -- you can do that around here, and those are not what makes Disney special. |
