Last names as first names are a tale as old as time. So many (most?) first names started as last names. The concept hasn’t “jumped the shark”, nor did it ever relay “old money,” (even if that’s what people wanted it to) - this one is just not a weird and not common (yet) first name. |

However, I would spell it Haviland. I would also really want there to be a family connection. I don't mind last names as first names, but without a family connection, I wonder why. |
