Keep doing lots of stretching. Focus on moving more, walking for longer times and distances, and lifting heavier weights. You don’t need the internet for this part.

This is the correct answer.

You need strength through range of motion. Massage guns and foam rollers mask the real issue. Once you have strength through range of motion, pretty much all of your symptoms will start to go away.

Not true for me - I need both. I agree that building strength is important, but I still need a regular foam rolling/massage gun and stretching routine after exercise or my muscles get tight.

I’m not trying to be mean, but that’s lack of fitness. All you are doing is making yourself feel better temporarily

Hey folks just checking in to say thanks and that I’ve had some good success with the stretches and also started taking magnesium and obviously I was deficient because that made a big difference almost immediately. Also trying to learn to love bananas - they’re so cheap and healthy, why can’t I love them??

Anyway thanks again I’m on the road to significant improvement and appreciate all the advice and suggestions!

Has anyone found StretchLab or StretchZone helpful ( sorry OP I know you said trainer and gym are not options for you).

I have tight muscles due to Cerebral Palsy. Acupuncture makes a major difference. Is that possible?

Soak in Epsom salts, too.
