The real estate industry conspires and colludes to artificially inflate commissions.

The most recent of settlements goes into effect soon and may (hopefully) be another step to normalize prices.

It would be great for homebuyers and sellers too, so much information is online and flat hourly fee should cover this service because realtors don't need a degree or experience to be in this business.

Every time a house was sold, 6% of commission increased cost causing artificial inflation.

There is no other similar high ROI job which expects no college education or job training. Realtors often use, "Would you do your own treatment or rather go with a physician?" line, without thinking how many years of schooling and training goes into it.

Well they're overpaid anyway, lie, inflate the cost, and houses are selling themselves these days.

So glad agents will be paid less. They have so few qualifications. Half seem to be failed yoga teachers.

One of my favorite statistics is that there are more licensed real estate agents than annual transactions. True nationwide and in almost every state.
