Or put up a silly new background. Palm trees or .... you're under WATER. Hehe

I think some ICEBREAKERS and FUN FACTS about yourselves are just the thing to give those Zoom meetings some zip!

I heard about this fun new thing ... TWO TRUTHS and (wait for it) A LIE!

Oh yuck we had to do this in our zoom team bonding event.

Feel free to bring your own festive beverage!!!

We are remote coworkers, not friends.

I actually strive to be stale. I do my work and get out.

Me too. I strive to be a stale but competent professional.

After 25 years in the workforce, I now only say about 40% of what I am actually thinking, and still, sometimes, I feel like I've said too much. I second-guess myself often and overthink interactions.

I don't do happy hour with coworkers and try to keep interactions brief and work-related only. I am sure I seem standoffish, but experience has taught me how brutal and exhausting the workforce can be.

What's funny is that even when you remain silent and do your work, you get labeled and misconstrued.
