As in:

“Become completely dependent upon and compliant with the caretaker regime, without the pesky interference of loved ones.”

I’m someone who knows how awful most skilled nursing facilities are and anything can happen in that timeframe.

Ok I visited. She’s angry and sad and begged me to bring her home. But I made friends with the staff and it’s the right decision

Do you use video chat with your parents in care facilities? Does the staff facilitate?

OP, I’m just curious - was she placed from the hospital, or from home? What is her pay or source?
