I *just* saw this story. Not sure how I missed it from a few weeks ago.

He filled in once and ran a clinic that my kid was in, so I'll definitely be asking. Sounds like this was happening a lot. We've been to parties, etc at Baseball Zone, and I could definitely see how a hitting/pitching coach could be 'alone' with a kid even with other people around.

I am somewhat mad that I found out about this with through a random Google search.

My kid has attended clinics and received instruction from Cruz. Shouldn’t the owner of Baseball Zone be required to notify parents? Even to reach out to see if there were other victims?

I have never received an email about this. Maybe there should be a requirement that business owners have to reach out to other parents when a child is involved.

Sounds like multiple victims. He should absolutely send out an email to clients of the facility. Incredibly disturbing that parents were not contacted.
