Family matching dresses

The 7 year old has mom who has very nice/formal taste - think Nantucket. The 8 and 11 year olds are southern california girls used to much more casual, beachy attire. Any advice on where to look? Childrens Place has some nice options but I'd like to find at least one more.

TIA.

Dressing children alike went out of style in the 1950's. Please do not do this to your daughters especially the 11 yr. old.

Some families still do it. This might be grandma coordinating outfits for the grandkids.

J Crew Factory is the kindest option for the 11 y/o and probably is the middle ground in terms of the styles your describing. Tea would be great for the younger kids but most of their stuff does not look tween.

H&M and Zara’s children’s lines would accommodate this but doesn’t sound like the right aesthetic for either family.

OP is the 7 year olds Nantucket mom and is coordinating family photos. Wants to meet her formal standards without it turning into a total battle with the tween.

You could do a mix and match of white/blue in a range of prints.

Do they need to be dresses or could the be rompers or cute shorts sets?

??
OP clearly said that the 11 yr won't match exactly but would like to find a complementary dress, similar fabric & different style ok.
It's perfectly fine to do this, OP. Hope you find something, enjoy!!

This looks like a great option for OP. That said, my 10 year old would still rebel hard at being made to wear anything on that site. I guess it depends on OP’s 11 year old and how strong their clothing opinions are.

Since you said the dc likes beachy clothes, maybe look at HawaiiHangover.com They have stuff for boys, girls, men and women in matching fabrics. They are Hawaiian themed fabrics but some are subtle.

The 11 year old is in 6th grade. Way to old for little girl matching outfits.
