And is smiles on some people for seemingly no reason at all.

Things are not happening TO you. They are happening FOR you. What is the lesson? What is the suggestion? What is the opportunity for growth and change?

I can tell that PP has never truly experienced something tragic and/or senseless. The suggestion that a tragic event is happening FOR someone is beyond insensitive. Box up the toxic positivity and show some compassion, PP.

You couldn't be more wrong. Sometimes hardships happen - but still look for the opportunities to grow and strengthen, and for the lessons.

Box up your pity party and stop comparing yourself to others.

There are definitely periods of more lucky or unlucky, but people can also make their own luck. I've had some very good things happen that may look like good fortune, but a lot of work went into it too. I've also had some terrible luck with some things like health, but my life would suck even more if I stay stagnant and dwell on it.

Figure out what you want and go deep on being resourceful to get it. It's about making the most of what you can, not obtaining what someone else has.

Are we talking about real problems or that it always rains when you try to plan a BBQ?
