Swim Groups and Locations

If you can narrow down which locations you are looking at, it would help us in answering your questions. As the program in MD is very different than DC or VA.

NP, we live in MD and have a swimmer that's tentatively switching out from current team, can you expand on the MD NCAP programs?

The MD NCAP programs that go all the way through HS are NCAP North (Gaithersburg) and NCAP-Gtown Prep. NCAP-Holton Arms funnels into the AU program for HS for the top swimmers (they recently started a Gold 3 HS program at Holton that is more low key). Location is still king especially as kids get older and are practicing 5-6 days a week, so where you live in MD will be a big factor. NCAP-GP is obviously the best known of the MD sites, but what is best for your swimmer also depends on the level of swimmer they are.
