Loudoun Tryouts

Given the weather forecast are tryouts usually rain or shine? Looks like session 1 is on grass and session 2 is on turf.

My kids are also trying out for Loudoun this week. My best guess is that anything on grass this week will get rescheduled, looking at the forecast I don’t see the fields drying out any time soon.

All true. But let’s not kid ourselves, it’s the exact same way at all of the large clubs around the beltway.

Pretty much. But loudoun gets a ton more kids so numbers arent in your favor.

They have some very good coaches on some low level teams. These teams are in higher NCSL divisions than I would have expected.

If you live in loudoun what other options do you have?

VRSC is another option for Loudoun county but they are finishing up tryouts this week. You can probably still arrange an ID session for a specific age group.

07 teams will have spots available, all the way up to red.

I didn't go to yesterday's tryouts, Should I try for 2nd day?
Any hope for kids from outside the club?

Loudoun girls coach could not be more obnoxious with his take down of his own players from sidelines in our game. Seriously I wanted to beat the crap out of him. The shouting was nuts. His comments were dumb. When we beat them, I jumped up and down

Yes. Turnout has been low in some age groups. Just don't expect a top team offer

You’re… a loser. It’s a kid sport where they kick an inflated ball.

Lol I know exactly who you are taking about. Only one parent is sad to drop him next season on the team. And their kid is the favorite.

Top team at older levels is NVA and therefore there are many players not from Loudoun.
