Staff stole money from parent at assisted living

Also be wary of credit cards or credit card number or accounts at dry cleaners, drugstores, Amazon. Convenient but another opportunity for theft.

OP why does your mother have cash there? How often do you visit? Can you buy what tshe needs when you visit?

My mom reported that staff was stealing valuables from her. Of course, I initially believed her. But then she started to report to me that things were taken that no one else would want (clothes, etc). Then I searched and found all of the misplaced items in a drawer. So take these reports seriously but you may not have the whole story.
