Who's left in CO leadership that's not "acting" at this point?

Brian and April should be the first to go given their actions this year during the Beidelman scandal and budget freeze

She's back! At the board table now.

It is shameful she was given her old job back in this manner.

Are you saying that Felder is as bad as McKnight was?

Whether she’s as bad or slightly better than McKnight, nothing I have seen from her inspires confidence that she’s the leader MCPS needs to heal and improve.

An interim superintendent
No chief of staff
No deputy superintendent
An acting chief of schools
Two acting associate superintendents of school support and well-being
An acting director of school support and well-being
An acting chief of district operations
An acting chief safety officer
An acting director of compliance and investigations
An acting director of maintenance and operations

All these vacancies should help with the budget shortfall.
too much MCPS insider gossip

She's worse. Way worse. And I was not a McKnight fan.

My feeling is she takes longer process events than CO leadership is willing to give her. Just take the budget cuts announced on Tuesday. She did not understand there would be any RIFs until after the meeting when she asked clarifying questions according to the MCEA President (who also didn’t understand it at the time). It’s like Hull, Edwards and Key are running the ship at super speed and refuse to let anyone get in their way.

Presumably she was just on administrative leave during an investigation, and now she's back.

She was on leave during the investigation, came back and then took her own leave until now.

Dana is back in her position and has been for a little while. She presented last night at the board meeting.
