| Yes, they are ugly. We were able to have them installed on the backside on 2 houses and sold for top $$$. It will reduce the value a little on the front. It will be the first thing you notice on the house. Not the landscape |

I'd think it would give a sort of industrial look, and would not be a positive. Roof-mounted solar are more common, and consequently more aesthetically accepted; solar shingles may be the future anyway.
