My oldest kid loves to hang out with friends and I love when they come over.
My second kid also loves to hang out but is younger and has not yet made a lot of friends. Did not click on the link, but I think this generation is more social than mine because even when my kids are not physically hanging out they are gaming together while in a group call at the same time. 🤣 |
| No. His teachers say he has plenty of kids he hangs out and is friendly with at school, but they only very occasionally see him on a weekend. I'm guessing they consider him a friend, but not a close one. |

I have two teens. One (extrovert) hangs out with friends all the time. The other (introvert) rarely does.

not on school nights i don’t let my 15 YO do large group hangouts at the moment bc i found out they sneak alcohol 🥃 which is a no go for this momma until i know my teen can stand up to peer pressure and hopefully make good decisions |
| Yes. Often. |
| No, mine does go to other homes, except for a special occasion/party. However, they do hang out after school for a bit, either getting coffee, food or studying. |

* Does not
I think she will when she is able to get around without me driving her though. She does club sports on the weekend also. |
| both of my teens sometimes do, but they will also go an entire weekend staying at home. |
| Yes. Lots. The balance is hard but we make it work. |
| DD's friends that are more extroverted, and have no ECs hang out a lot all the time, including school days. DD who is less outgoing hangs out when she has days off, and time on her hands. So once a week, maybe once every other week. I don't think this has changed much because of phone usage. |
