Most public schools are not in session today (spring break).

We went and it was great! Mud, some drizzle but worth it! You just need to dress up adequately - No high heels or fancy dresses. Snack area was great - delicious food; truly didn’t expect something as good at such a mass event. Imagine if it was always possible to get such snacks while visiting entertainment parks, zoos. Egg sandwiches, tartes, meringuées, quinoa chocolate dessert. Music was too loud for my taste. It was crowded but didn’t feel overwhelming. Highly recommend!

If you’re going for the once in a lifetime experience of being at the White House Easter egg roll, that has been an existence since the late 1870s, Then of course it’s worth it. How many people can say they went to this…well many of us in this area, but not across the country.

There are no treats! LOL. There were dressed up characters, fitness options (Michelle Obama when we went), book readings by celebrities: the Easter egg roll itself which was over in a matter of moments (per round). We got souvenir wooden eggs signed by the Obama’s. It was muddy and not rainy when we went. It was something fun to do with my then 4 year old.

I don’t recall snacks. Maybe this is a new edition. What kind of snacks?

Do you have kids and have you ever been? Doesn’t sound like it. I would not want to go with certain people in the White House though.

Egg sandwiches, tartes, meringuées, quinoa chocolate dessert. Spinach tart. Truly excellent. Nice touch.

Whaat? She played tennis when? Not during the Easter egg roll. This sounds truly made-up. It’s not like people are just wandering the grounds freely. The Obama girls (then) had a swing and outdoor gym set and no one ran over to play on it during the egg roll.

Clearly you don’t have any kids. There isn’t school on Easter Monday (unless maybe the kids attend a Jewish or other religious non Christian school).

Today. It was located just after the main security and games (nba etc). Full of people - so for sure I wasn’t the only one.

Uh, there certainly were treats at the "Snack Time tent".

Tennis was one of the available activities in 2017. We went again in 2019 and the activities were different and less fun.

They had a lot of food today. Two different snack areas with finger foods— little sandwiches, muffins, frittatas, custards (egg-heavy, being on theme). And a cute picnic area to sit and look at the monument! And then people giving candy away as we left.
