Walls vs JR?

If you want Walls you want MacArthur. It’s small will be majority highly engaged families. With subjective selection criteria at Walls, MacArthur is just as good if not better .

I’m the OP and we are in boundary for JR, not MacArthur. DC’s friends seem to be going to a mix of private and JR, not Walls or MacArthur.

I've never heard of an academy filling up, and please do your due diligence before enrolling in a JR academy. I've heard many complaints about them from parents and students, especially the biomed academy. If you search the archives, I think there was a recent post about it.

How does one even sign up? Kid is coming from a charter school, not Deal, so we have little info on how to do anything!

Here is the sign up page. We know freshman who wanted an academy and did not get in this year so next year they will have to double up in classes,
