Wait a few years and you’ll get dumped and he will end up with a 25 year old. At least you’ll be pushing 40 and single.

Sorry to sound harsh, but this is how it almost always plays out. He will grow up a bit, realize he wants kids, and a woman pushing 40 isn’t it.

This.

This is what all the bitter old men tell themselves. Wishful thinking

I am sorry but it's true. Women when they date younger men somehow miraculously Believe that those younger men are more mature more willing to settle down than their bitter sometimes divorced older counterpart. Men are men. Even at 70 they will show signs of immaturity (from the woman's perspective)

Because a lot of those relationships *do* last, despite how mad it makes crusty older men and bitter undesirable feeling women

So absurd. There are plenty of older women younger men couples. That seems to really bother older men in general and women who settled with husbands they hate. Half the heartthrob men in Hollywood chose to marry older women

Exactly. Chris Henson, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Adam driver, Jason momoa, harry styles, the list goes on. For some reason it really triggers both the incels and hausfraus on this board

Guy here and I have had older female partners jokingly make fun of my age.

I’m 52 and my BF is 41. He’s way too smart to make fun of my age though I did once tell him that I robbed the cradle.

Yeah it’s normal. He obviously is into you, otherwise he wouldn’t be dating you

I date younger women and they joke about my age. At least the cool ones do. It’s a worthwhile but unavoidable toll for sleeping with someone younger.

tell him to go sit in the corner and take a time out. If he's a good boy, maybe you'll bring him a happy meal.

I assume your boyfriend was the one who asked you out and hit on you

He knows you are older. This sounds like it is a YOU issue.

I date younger men. They'll joke about my age and I'll joke about theirs. If it actually was an issue, they'd date someone younger. People generally assume I'm the younger one because I'm in good shape and the guys I date tend to have gray hair and beards, which can age them.

At least 2 of these were predatory/groom,ing situations and one is no longer together, another has been accused of violent behavior so not sure why our're counting these as feminist wins.

Seriously. I don't believe this was written by an actual 35 year old. If it really bothers you tell him to stop, if he respects you he will. If he doesn't well you have your answer
