Also agree that getting up 270 at 6:00 will be the worst part.

Like others have said, it’s not a bad drive, OP, but I also wouldn’t want to start it at 6:15pm.

PP again if you are coming from VA, you can avoid the beltway and 270 by taking the toll road to 7 to 522 to Berkeley Springs WV and get on 70 there just south of Breezewood. It’s a little more scenic, at least for the first two hours of the trip.
