Second grader is a terrible test taker

My now 6th grader was always like this. It was put down to “ shes just a bad test taker” grades matter more now though and these tests determine class placement in later grades. We are having her evaluated now by mcps although she’s in a private for adhd or a learning disability.
She doesn’t follow written instruction well, reads half of it then starts the test and guesses answers. Multiple choice questions overwhelm her, although she can verbally tell you the answer…..
