What's your go to outfit for an international flight?

It's shocking how many times presumably grown women have used the word "comfy" in responses. JFC. Do you all also say "tummy, yummy, preggo" and any other number of toddler-like words instead of speaking like grown adults?

I wondered if I was the only one who thought that.

Leggings and a tee is not sloppy. It is casual. Casual does not equal sloppy. Sloppy is oversized, wrinkled, mismatched frumpiness.

I want to hear more about the uniqlo pants.

For me, I wear a t-shirt and slim leggings and athleisure jacket with pockets. If I get hot I tie it around my waist.

I really hate the part of travel where you rush and sweat and then get cold. I only like to sweat in workout clothes and I can't handily wear a tank top traveling (gross) so I have to deal with t-shirt armpits which I hate.

Preggo is the absolute worst, right after hubby. But no one dresses up for flights anymore, sorry. If you’re getting on a 14-hour flight, you should be dressed for comfort.

At the advice of someone on DCUM, over the summer I got the spanx AirEssentials wide leg pant and pull over for an international flight. They are really (really) comfortable (wearing them on a flight right now!). But they did get pilly really quickly. Kind of annoying because they weren’t cheap.

I bought the Amazon knock off of these recommended on Capital Hill Style and love them for travel. I’m washing them but not using the dryer hoping they will last longer that way.

These are sweat pants and doesn’t the wide leg drag on every bathroom floor from Here to your destination?

These pants are comfortable, flattering and can be dressed up/down. https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=982353092#pdp-page-content

If I’m not feeling lazy: leggings, booties or knee high boots with good insole support, casual long blouse or button down with front or side tuck. Pack wrap or similar if it gets chilly.
