Do you still read magazines?

I still read People, just to see if I’m named the Sexiest Man Alive. They’ve picked a SMA for almost 40 years, & I haven’t been chosen even once. Now I’m nearly 70, overweight, & bald. I’m starting to think it’s not going to happen. Probably not even an honorable mention. ☹️

I like to, because magazine articles are the perfect amount of reading to poop. One article and done. I got a 1 year subscription to Men's Health that they kept sending me for three years (??) but it's stopped now. I'm 47. I wouldn't mind getting that again, or Psychology Today. I miss Newsweek.

I'm 54, my gift subscription to the New Yorker ended last year and I have about three years' worth that I still occasionally read one of and toss. I love it but it's too frequent to get through and other people in my house steal them when I'm in the middle so they are a maintenance headache. I will probably resubscribe after another long break.

I used to love magazines, now you can’t get through one that doesn’t have a woke agenda. Even the cooking magazines!

No. I used to subscribe to the New Yorker, but I canceled my subscription a few years ago because I never read it and they just piled up on my coffee table.

If you are seeing something everywhere, maybe it isn't a "woke agenda" that you are seeing, maybe you have serious issues that are reflected back at you by the everyday culture you are living in.

Yes, I keep the only two magazines that come anymore - college alum magazine and AAA travel/car mag - in the bathroom for reading.

I haven’t consistently read a magazine since I got Muse as a tween. And even then, I mostly like cartoon muses best. I read plenty of physical books though?

Yes! My neighbor has several subscriptions and gives them to me when she’s done reading. People, BHG, Southern Living. I’m 45.

Online. Random articles, not the whole thing.

I'm 45 - we get Washingtonian and Food Network. I loved magazines as a teen and in my twenties but like many things, they're expensive and the quality doesn't usually justify it for me.
