My DC had such a wonderful experience at Denison, and is doing so well now. I love that school. Congratulations to your DC! |
| My oldest is there, and their sibling just got accepted. We love it. They haven't decided yet what they want to do, but we would be happy if they also ended up there. |
| How are the employment outcomes after college? Can folks share examples of the types of jobs their kids ended up with and where? |

Class of 2003 here! My scholarship letter arrived the day before my admissions packet. So the letter I saw first was a small envelope, which back in the day meant rejection, so I didn’t open it until the next day, when the big envelope came. |
Great input! What would we do without you? |
| It's also the land of Senator Sherrod Brown and Connie Schultz (a visiting professor at Denison - https://denison.edu/news-events/featured/147127). And Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell are alumni. |
Beat it, Dobbs dork. |
Ohio native and the first PP isn't wrong to note that as a negative. That said, Denison is outside Columbus, is beautiful, and those areas tend to be a bit more blue (and reasonable overall in terms of politics, demeanor, vibe, etc.). |

There is a lot of info on their website about their career center. It may have the type of info you are looking for: https://denison.edu/career

My DC is a software engineer in Seattle.
My DC's roommate and best friend from Denison, who did a lot of research there (and internships in the summers), is finishing up a PhD program at U. of Wisconsin. Roommate got into every grad program they applied to and the choice came down to the best fit for their area of interest. |
| Denison is a perfectly fine school at a discount but let's not get away. It still has a ways to go before becoming first tier, even in the Midwest. |
