I’ve gotten a couple of used closed pumps via Facebook groups and greatly appreciated it. No concerns about contamination. I also boiled/sterilized the parts I could.

No, it has to be approved for multi-user. Not all closed system ones are.

I am very much aware and still rock my used pump. Of all the risks in life, milk from a thoroughly cleaned pump was one of the lower risk things my newborn experienced.

How about no risk and purchasing a new one? It’s not recommended by the fda for good reason.
