There's probably a 50% chance of clouds. It'll be interesting to see the hotels all unbook 2-3 days out if the weather forecast is gloomy.

PP - Our hotel has a 24 hour cancellation, I did that on purpose for weather reasons. But also we live within an easy driving distance which helps.

I'm so thankful my kids schools will provide glasses to every student and go outside. I was worried they'd have to have absences. We are near totality.

Near totality and totality are very different viewing experiences.
