OP, start by cross referencing a list of Jesuit universities https://ajcunet.edu/about/colleges-universities/ and cross-reference this list with schools that offer D1 sports. Then add a few non-Jesuit Catholic schools (Providence College, Villanova, Notre Dame).

University of Miami is much more similar to BC than people think (assuming religious affiliation and weather are not deal breakers). DS's friend just chose UM over BC because of a huge merit scholarship. (DS did not get the same UM scholarship and will head to BC)

I sort of agree with this. At least in terms of the caliber of students.
Different kind of partying though.
