Zojirushi.
It's the most popular answer because they're the best. They're accurate, they last forever, the fancier ones have fun features but even the cheapest is a workhorse and won't let you down. As for PP with the teflon weirdness: you're already contaminated, and a lot of your other surfaces/substances have pfas. Just keep your nonsticks in good shape and replace them if/when the surface gets scratched or damaged. |
Zojirushi lasts forever, especially the ones made in Japan. I got mine 22 years ago and still use it almost everyday.
Cuckoo twin pressure cooker is a high end option if you make both white rice (either non-pressure or high pressure depending on your preference) and pre-germinated / germinated brown rice (high pressure). |
there’s at plenty of RCs with stainless bowls available. |
We're Asian and we use Tiger. Never had any issues. Had a Zojuroshi once, too. There's also Tatung which has a stainless steel pot if that's a concern for you. |
I've used a basic Panasonic for 30 years. |
We have a cheap Aroma rice cooker that has lasted us much longer than our old Zojirushi did. I'm not sure if it's just a weird freak thing or what. |
