It's not a different question, it's the question asked. |
| UNC is a unique one - buses are run by town of chapel hill to reduce traffics in the areas. It’s funded by property taxes of chapel hill, Carrboro (2/3) and student fees (1/3). Its fare free for anyone. |
| WVU has a rail system...reminds me of Disney without the lines. |
In our experience, never rode a bus at Penn State in 4 years. Lived on campus and then apt. within 2 blocks of College Ave. "Most students" would be an overstatement IMO. |
| Kids at two Big 10 schools. There is a shuttle bus system on each campus and neither has used it. |
| UMD has a shuttle however DS only takes it between the bars on Baltimore Ave and his dorm. |
Or Disney with the lines sometimes.
They also have busses. Main problem is if you live on main campus and take engineering classes you might have to leave your dorm /apr an hour early to get to class in time. |
| Princeton, which is not a very big school, has an extensive bus system, which I hardly ever see anyone using. And I think it's open to anyone, not just students. |
| UCSD |
Which schools? |
| UIUC |
| UGA and Rutgers |
| GMU has shuttle busses connecting the four U.S. campuses (fifth is in Korea). Also takes kids downtown for internships and work. |
IU and M |
Thanks! Those two actually are quite high on DC's (a junior) interest list. |
