If your child got a cypher card from William & Mary - is it likely that you will receive merit as well?

My child received the official RD acceptance and Monroe scholar today. He received the cypher card 1 month ago.

DD received cypher card and her official acceptance as a Monroe scholar came yesterday. I was a Monroe scholar when I attended and did my summer program at a natural foods cooking school in NYC. Really awesome memories and my vegan cooking skills have always come in handy, oddly. We are heading down for a visit in a couple of weeks. It's our top choice for now.

For admitted student day with extra day for Monroe scholars? There is a full weekend in April.

No. DS got cipher card last year after his OOS RD application but no merit.

DC also received the Monroe Scholar with $3K research grant; post card came in Feb

My OOS DC got a cypher card a few years ago but did not get merit aid and very little need based aid as OOS so went to a meets need T25 private instead. (Waitlisted at UVA)
