Tucker in Russia

BREAKING: The European Union is said to be seeking sanctions and a "travel ban" against Tucker Carlson for his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I never thought I would be defending Tucker Carlson so much within a period of a couple days, but once again, if you support freedom then you should support Tucker's right to interview Putin, just like many others have in the past.

I'm sure much of what Putin will say will be lies, embellishments and inaccuracies. Putin is the one who should be sanctioned further, not an American who is asking Putin questions.

The 'risks' of this interview for Tucker shouldn't be sanctions from US allies.

You’re not here because you “just want to avoid war unnecessarily” or whatever excuse you have. You probably straight up don’t like a lot of contemporary liberal values.

If you’re okay with listening to what a guy who keeps on annexing ex-Soviet countries has to say, it’s pretty clear you’re sympathetic to his reasoning.

Palestine espouses Islamic nationalism, anti gay policies, and traditional values.

And yet no one accuses the far left of the bolded.

It's called context, and it's important when you're evaluating the validity of an assertion. If you're saying that people who don't want the US involved in the Ukraine/Russia conflict are pro-Russia and everything Russia stands for, then it stands to reason that the same is true for the left and the Palestine/Israel conflict.

Tucker’s interview is meant to kill the lights, not illuminate anything. He’s a Tokyo Rose/Lord Haw Haw type and it’s sad that the right wing is so far gone that they won’t see this.
