Wow. Our school had nothing. So glad the students are on an even plane, not.

I also have a child that takes it tomorrow. I'm actually happy for the students from URM schools that they got to take tours of TJ that other schools didn't had the chance for, and now receive TJ PREP and mock exams that other students have been vehemently accused for. Kudos to the district for leveling the play field.

Are you serious? Haha. I thought every MS took a tour? The school provided prep is wierd. I kind of doubt that, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Liar. Nothing new with our sole equity warrior lurking these forums.

I'm not lying. I tried to but couldn't hide my fixed feelings

DS said some kids didn’t come to school today in preparation for TJ exam. Also his friends have been missing out on after school activities

No prep or tour offered at our MS.

Too Asian/white privileged, I suppose.

I think some of the typically "underachieving" middle schools got tours; not every kid grows up knowing what TJ is and maybe seeing it could inspire them to think about applying.

A prep center that had once boasted that 30%+ of the incoming TJ class were its clients.

If you go to YouTube there is a page called EduAvenues that has the test from last Saturday up

Sketch as anything since everyone signed confidentially agreements

DS is taking it this week. After the test, maybe I'll ask him about whether this matches up.

My older DC took the make up test a few years back. He got a different set of problems/prompts.
