Our club cancelled practices all week because FFX Cty fields are still covered in snow.

Can you share which grass fields are open this time of year even without the snow?

Well, yes -- there are wide open areas in my neighborhood that are now snow-free. It's the yards with trees etc where the snow isn't gone.
So wide open soccer fields -- Hmmmm. Maybe that's why the question was asked. But that's for your help!

Hmmm. so which Fairfax fields are you asking about? Fields that are wide open? Fields that are partly shaded by trees or buildings? Mostly shaded? ... Let me know and I'll be able to take a pretty good guess just by looking out my window and seeing how the snow is melting.

Soccerplex still closed. Sigh.

What do you mean? All of them! I have a kid that plays for McLean and a kid that plays for Arlington. They both practice on grass fields one day a week. Synthetic the others.

That's weirdly specific.

Not PP but in Montgomery County no grass fields are open in winter.

Neither does Fairfax County.

They need to hurry up and open these fields so that kids can miss practices for other reasons

Out of curiosity, how have the ECNL clubs & FCV handled the snow. This is what I've heard/know:
1. NVA - plowed fields and pretty much kept practicing (missed 1 practice)
2. Union - no practice last week. found indoor space this week.
3. Brave - no practices.
4. VDA - ??
5. Arlington - ??
6. FCV - ??
