What finally worked for you? 3 miscarriages and feeling defeated

PCOS generally has to do with your ability to get pregnant, not keep a pregnancy. Unless your blood sugars are completely out of control which hopefully you would know about. Good luck.

Thank you. I'm currently waiting testing results for POC from recent Miscarriage to see if it was a genetic issue. Really hoping for some more answers. The RE saw a very enlarged yolk sac and was misshapen so she suspects testing will come back with some kind of genetic abnormality.

POC is referring to particles of conception (passed fetal tissue) not PCOS.

I had three miscarriages in February 2020, April 2020 and December 2021. None of my miscarriages were tested and I was told I had "unexplained infertility" at age 37.

I had 3 failed IUIs and at age 38, I started IVF. I had 1 PGT-A normal embryo from my first egg retrieval which resulted in my son born last year. There is hope!

The devastation I went through from those 3 miscarriages made the cost of PGT-A testing worth it for me. I wanted to reduce the chance of a miscarriage anyway that I could.

Progesterone worked for me. Had to use it up to 12 weeks but baby boy is here. Don’t give up hope!

Similar story as you except I lost the IVF pregnancy too. No happy ending.

Dumped the RE at Shady Grove. Found a top RI and used progesterone, Lovenox, Synthroid, and high doses of B-12. Conceived naturally. No problem pregnancy after 3 recurrent miscarriages that could not be explained. There’s hope. Try a new team and will the whole experience to be different next time. Good luck!

You didn't have any complications during pregnancy? I'm on loss #6 and in the middle of the RI process but just totally losing hope that I won't make it out alive if I get pregnant again (almost lost my uterus last time).
