Seriously? My parents were of the "children should be seen and not heard" school of thought. Maybe more modern parents listen to endless stories, but not most of the old school parents.


+1 My parents told me to STFU often. They left us with sitters as young as 9. An older sitter abused me Andy ignored my complaints until someone saw her repeatedly hit me in public. Tip of the iceberg. Gotta love. When people from loving homes try to guilt trip having no idea the world isnt gumdrops and tootsie rolls for many of us.

OP - your post is offensive. Try to develop some humanity and charity You would have NO IDEA what I am dealing with one parent (96 and hasn't known anyone for five years) and another at 93
