I have heard good things about Ester Lauder Double Wear. I might try that next

I use Estee Lauder Double Wear. Definitely more medium than light coverage but I like that to cover my redness from rosacea.
I have also used MAC Studio Fix and recommend that as well.

I was going to say if you really want matte, bring on the big guns. Double Wear is the big guns. Either that or a powder foundation - Sephora brand powder foundation is $20 and comes in a good spectrum of colors. https://www.sephora.com/product/matte-perfection-powder-foundation-P408606?country_switch=us&lang=en&skuId=1787597&om_mmc=ppc-GG_17789371101___1787597__9019673_c&country_switch=us&lang=en&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-62tBhDSARIsAO7twbZsEu_OTthaaXsKYXkreSMA2Jwq8xYCyywOec2eLrXImQpWM7vSTOkaAvW9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

I swear by Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator. $5, great coverage and easy to blend.

I really like the Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm although it is pricey. I’ve been looking around for a less expensive product that I like as much as this one but haven’t found it yet.
